Patrice and Andrew had a “mini-destination” wedding here in San Diego having themselves and their family and friends coming on down from Los Angeles. They picked out a gorgeous wedding venue – The Hilton San Diego Bayfront and couldn’t have asked for a more picture perfect San Diego day on the bay on this fine memorial day weekend, the sun was out and the spirits were high! The day was jam packed with events throughout the whole night to keep people on their feet. Salsa dancers, a piano performance, a surprise serenade from Patrice singing to Andrew, 2 rounds of toasts and a hip-hop performance were a handful of the “extra” reception events that went on at this grand wedding! Note: both families are super musically talented and both the piano and hip-hop performance were performed by their own family members. Up until both of our memorial day weddings we had never seen a bride sing to her groom, ironically enough both of our weddings last weekend featured our bride’s singing beautifully to their groom! The day was coordinated by the amazingly wonderful Francine Ribeau of Francine Ribeau Events, thanks to Francine the jam packed wedding went on silky smooth and the reception room was truly a spectacle to see with the gorgeous lighting and beautiful details. We were also fortunate to work alongside Rafael with Rafael Pires Artistic Wedding Films – another superb vendor who we hope to work with more often.
This day was so magical and these two were sooooo photogenic in front of the camera it was very hard to narrow down the photos – so warning – LONG post 🙂 I hope you all enjoy the photos and most importantly I wish Patrice and Andrew a once in a lifetime / amazing honeymoon in Tahiti!!!
