Grand Tradition Estate Wedding: Niccila & Jason

Niccila and Jason are back in the US from their honeymoon  so I can now post up their full blog post of their wedding!  Woo hoo…..I’ve been wanting to show these photos off ever since we took them.  Niccila and Jason are one fun couple to be around and always down to have a good time.  Their Grand Tradition Estate wedding was top notch, the venue, the decor, the guests, the vendors it was as smooth, fun and as classy of an event as you can have.

This is one of our lengthier blog posts for a couple reasons – first off, the way I like to post our work is in such a way that people can follow along the day in a chronological format that tells the story of the day, so we don’t leave out any details.  My goal is for each blog post to give our viewers enough insight into our photo style and the wedding day as it really unfolded 🙂  Secondly – we got sooooooo many awesome photos it was very hard to narrow it down haha.

There are many photos in this blog post that also show the importance and value in having 2 photographers at your wedding, there are many photos that you can see the 2 or even 3 different perspectives and shots taken with the exact same post – very cool!

Last but not least….I mentioned earlier we worked with some of our favorite vendors (and our same DJ and videographer for our wedding last year :))  Highly recommend any of these vendors.

DJ – San Diego Party Time DJs – Greg
Videographer – Jerad Cullen Films – Jerad
Officiant – 2 Rings and a Kiss! – Lauren

Ok, on with the photos….

Niccila and Jason wanted to do this specific idea for their first look – I dig it…worked out great!

The below photos of the best man speech were shot with flash as shown below and then also with zero flash to give a different softer more romantic and old feel.

Love this available light shot from behind – such a different angle and perspective!
