Late last year I was asked by one of our lovely past brides – Sarina, if I would be willing to donate a free photo session for a charity event she was putting together for suicide prevention & awareness. It was an easy decision for me as I felt honored to be asked to contribute given the charity and cause.
Well one day my phone rang, and on the other end was a very timid sounding Amanda, explaining to me about them winning a free session with me…I instantly calmed her down by saying YEP – congrats! She then told me that she is actually engaged and wanted to know if they could use for an engagement session, another YEP!
From talking on the phone and email with Amanda I learned that both she and Rick love the outdoors and every weekend get an early morning start and jump in their cars to go for a good drive out east. We decided that Lake Murray would give us a nice outdoorsy feel with some nice water to work into the shots and of course at 7am it would be nice and quiet & calm….
…we were right.
It was an awesome morning walking and talking with these two and despite their admitted nervousness since they have “never done anything like this before (professional photos)” they were complete naturals in front of the camera!
Amanda & Rick – I wish you both nothing but the best and a lifetime of happiness!
