As the week went on the forecast was looking more and more grim… We almost called the fun South Park engagement session off because of the cold, rainy and windy weather forecast. And then after a couple phone calls on Friday we said screw it, lets press on! As I am always up for a challenge and looking for elements that would make our photo shoots more unique, I told Kori & Mike to bring their umbrella and lets have some fun.
Boy o boy am I glad that we did.
Did it rain? Yes, a little bit. A full rainbow even made an appearance for us! Did we have a blast walking the streets of South Park popping in and out of various nooks and cranny’s? Yes, we did.
Kori, Mike & their beloved dog, Rowdy completely rocked this session! One thing I love most about these two, other than their very easy going personalities, is the trust they have in Nicole and myself as their photographers. As a result they had no issues with me cranking up the creativity a bit on this session and trying some new things which I am very pleased with how they came out.
Well, time to let you be the judge…here are a handful of my favorite photos from this rad session.
Have any favorites? I’d love to hear your feedback, leave us a comment at the bottom!
Seriously…what is more romantic that kissing in the rain???
LOVE these two that Nicole got….Kori has such a versatile “look” to her.
While we were waiting for Mike who had to run back to the car to get their second set of clothes, we decided to get some more edgy portraits in the dark & narrow alley.
Seeing double??? …this was a fun shot to get (zero Photoshop)
We walked our way down to visit our good pal Melissa who owns a rad men’s custom clothing shop called “Crow Thief” – go check em out, she is awesome and so are her products.
One of my favorites of the session!
We decided to cheers to an awesome photo shoot and found ourselves in the patio of Station Tavern chatting over some beer and of course, their awesome tator tots!
